OM-2.8-100

I used my old OM-2,8-100. It is amazing how small this lens is and how it results in a 200 mm telephoto lens with 4/3. I guess, all of the photos were taken with open aperture (2.8).

Sal & Boavista 2008

My travel to the Cape-Verde-Islands in spring 2008. First I stayed 5 days on Sal - which is now quite touristic but still nice - then 15 days on Boavista in the village of Sal-Rei. This was an excellent time. My hotel, the DUNAS, was recently renewed and excellent. From my bed I could see the bay in the morning and the fishermen fixing their boats and after breakfast, it was just some steps to the small harbour. There was a small snackk bar and some days I just stayed there until sunset. Very nice people and a really silent and relaxed time.
My equipment was: Oly E-3, 50-200, 11-22 and Sigma 1.4-30. In addition the Oly converter 2x, which is excellent - but I sold it afterwards because for my needs I used it too less.

Slides from my vacation in Treasurebeach, south coast of Jamaika. This is a very quiet and friendly place. It was October 2005 and Hurricane Wilma was born close to the South of Jamaika. At treasure beach, I found time to relax, far away from mass-tourism. I used the Olympus E-1 + 11-22, 14-54 and 50-200 lenses.

Cape-Verde: Boavista

My recent visit to the island of Boavista - Cape Verde - photographed with the Olympus E-1. This visit was characterized by long walks on beaches and desert-like landscape, nice people and long rests at the harbour. Photography was fun at this place and at other capeverdian islands.
