My travel to the Cape-Verde-Islands in spring 2008. First I stayed 5 days on Sal - which is now quite touristic but still nice - then 15 days on Boavista in the village of Sal-Rei. This was an excellent time. My hotel, the DUNAS, was recently renewed and excellent. From my bed I could see the bay in the morning and the fishermen fixing their boats and after breakfast, it was just some steps to the small harbour. There was a small snackk bar and some days I just stayed there until sunset. Very nice people and a really silent and relaxed time. My equipment was: Oly E-3, 50-200, 11-22 and Sigma 1.4-30. In addition the Oly converter 2x, which is excellent - but I sold it afterwards because for my needs I used it too less.
